The Suburb May Day Mailout!

May Day, April 2008

Here at Suburb, we believe in fête. That's why we're so excited about May Day. Get the bunting ready and dust off the vicar; it's time to celebrate the end of winter. Before we look forward though, we should have a look back at the recent past. Below are 3 projects we'd like to make a song and Morris Dance about.

"Lucky Dip"

Manchester Pride certainly decided that Suburb were the best in show, when they chose us to develop the brand identity for this year's 10 day festival which culminates in the Big Weekend to be held from 22-25 August. Festival Manager Jackie Crozier revealed "We are really excited about the new design and believe that it offers a great image for 2008". Read more

"Could the owner of the red Mitsubishi please go to the information tent"

Next out of the tombola; we are proud to announce completion of the design and build of a new intranet application for Mitsubishi UFJ Securities International. Suburb will be working with MUSI over the coming months to support and extend the functionality of the intranet. Read more

"Let the Dog see the Rabbit"

Two weeks ago the London office all hopped onboard a traction engine and made the long journey up to Manchester, so we could visit our friends in the north. It had been a long time since we'd all been in the same room together, but in no time we were like prize-winning peas in a pod. After a useful presentation and discussion, we all headed off to Belle Vue Stadium to gamble small sums of money on which dogs would finish second (after the rabbit).

Well, now it's time for us to clear away the trestle tables and unravel the May Pole. Thanks for reading; we'll be sending more emails throughout the year to coincide with important dates in the calendar, so keep an eye on your inbox.
